Create an assignment
Click on Create Assignment and fill out all required fields

🔹 Select Class*
Dropdown where the teacher selects which class the assignment belongs to. Required.
🔹 Assignment Title*
Text input for naming the assignment. Example: “Final Essay on Climate Change” Required.
🔹 Description
Optional text area to describe the assignment details, instructions, or goals. Example: “Write a 1000-word essay explaining the effects of climate change on global agriculture.”
🔹 AI Feedback Language*
Dropdown to select the language AI should use when giving feedback on student submissions. Example: English, French, Korean, etc. Required.
Tip: This affects the language used in automated comments or feedback provided by the AI.
🔹 Due*
Date and time picker to set the assignment's deadline. Required.
🔹 Status
Indicates the current publishing state of the assignment:
Draft: Not yet published or visible to students
Published: visible to students
🔹 Allow Late Submissions
Checkbox allowing students to submit the assignment after the due date if checked.
💫 Grading Criteria (Optional)
This section lets teachers define custom grading rubrics that AI will follow for grading text or code answers.
Criteria: A field where you describe a grading aspect Example: “Clarity,” “Content,” “Organization”
To be applied on: Dropdown to select which question(s) this criterion applies to. Useful for targeted grading.
Add button: Adds the defined criterion to the assignment.
